SNOWDON MOUNTAIN
Started early today and were meant to do a pretty easy hike. But since it's Wales and since the sun was shining, we decided to hike up Wales's highest Mountain, Snowdon Mt.
Took the Pyg Trail up:
Took us a good 2 hrs to walk up.
We planned to take the Minors Path on the way down but met an awesome Welsh man who lived in a small cottage in the national park, and he suggested we'd go across another mountain. He told us it would take abt 20 min to get there and the way was promised to be quite easy. To start with. It took us abt 1.5 hrs to get there, after sliding down an incredibly steep part of the Snowdon mountain.
We started to walk up the next mountain but had to realize our limitations and return. The only way back was to go up the very steep hill we just walked down. We weren't very happy about that, but didn't really have a choice. At least, it gave us some nice pictures: (and some very good exercise)
Well. That will be it for now. Im tired and need to rest my feet and mind for tomw's hiking adventure! Wherever that will take us...
